Because Odysseus is a bad driver, he missed out on donating blood,
something he as done for years in Ithaca.


3. Write your CD & CMs for your paragraph about Odysseus  (25 min)
CD- Says -- YOUR EXAMPLE OF HOW HE IS A GOOD HERO, CONTRASTED TO
HOW HE IS A FLAWED HERO:
While Odysseus always bought pizza for his crew, his failure to include any Pepsi or
Coke was a murderous oversight.
CM-Means-- Sure, Odysseus was generous to buy pizza, but who eats pizza without
a drink?
CM-Matters-- What would have made this whole thing better might have been a focus
on a cheaper meal. Then he could actually afford a great drink; pop is way better than
watered down win.


4. SSR your library book (10 min). You should be finished with your
book when you come back from Holiday break. You will be doing a graded
activity with it.


5. Craft your CS (Final verdict on Odysseus. What should we learn from
examining Odysseus?)Turn in your finished paragraph. (10 min).

Yes, Odysseus was a good hero, but he also had issues. He is no different from each
